- I started this Blog after reading Shreve Stockton's about her x-country trip on a Vespa. She's a young woman who describes herself as I do - a writer and a photographer. I too have solo'd across country, except I did it in a van with my two Yorkies, and saw many of the same sights that she did, and seeing her blog reminded me of my joyful adventure eight years ago when I was in my late forties.
